Why The Platform

Instructional Biology Inc. is a research-stage biotechnology company based in Oceanside, California, formally founded on February 5, 2026. It is developing a connected technology stack rather than a single product, aimed at reasoning across signaling biology as a connected system, not an isolated list of targets.

The platform is built as five distinct systems designed to work as one chain, each independently examinable:

  • Discovery: the Advanced Science AI Platform (ASAP) reasons over the Signaling Cascade Knowledge Graph (SCKG), a tiered, evidence-weighted graph embedded in a 16-dimensional Poincaré ball designed for hierarchy.
  • Manufacture: the Markosian High-Fidelity Bio-Processing Protocol (MHFBP), sentinel-protein thermal control designed to preserve native structure through isolation.
  • Pathogen reduction: ultrashort-pulse optical clearance, tuned below the threshold that damages protein structure.
  • Carrier: a payload-agnostic exosome carrier manufacturing system.
  • Dosing: a therapeutic-regulation system using a digital twin, with closed-loop revision within a clinician-authorized envelope.

What the last stage measures returns to the model that selected the target, so the chain closes. Two of the five systems operate on third-party material and are licensable on their own. Each layer is described in more detail on Our Technologies.

What Is Public And What Is In The Data Room

This public site explains the vision without exposing protected work. Here you can read the science behind each system, the press releases, and explore an interactive projection of the SCKG.

Qualified reviewers may request access to a controlled virtual data room after an introductory conversation and a signed non-disclosure agreement. It holds materials such as technical documentation, intellectual-property materials and information on the team. As the September 10, 2026 release states, complete portfolio documentation is available to qualified parties under a non-disclosure agreement.

The Founder

Boris Markosian is the founder, CEO and sole inventor of Instructional Biology. His fifteen-year path runs across neuroscience, computational data architecture and biological operations, through institutions and organizations including the Salk Institute, UCSD Moores Cancer Center, Genelux, the USC Keck School of Medicine, TriLink Biotechnologies and Google. Before Instructional Biology he founded Vaxenta Biotechnologies, built around a 2013 international patent application for a cancer vaccine approach. Read the full founder’s story.

A pending patent application confers no enforceable rights unless and until a patent issues. All releases are collected on the Press page.

How To Request Access

Investor materials are handled directly rather than published on the public site. Access follows two steps: an introductory conversation, then a signed non-disclosure agreement before the data room opens. To begin, email boris@instructionalbiology.com with the subject “Investor introduction” and a short note on who you are and what you would like to review. We’re a small, research-stage team, so expect a real reply rather than an autoresponder.

Instructional Biology’s platform and programs are research-stage and have not completed clinical development. Nothing on this page is a claim of clinical efficacy, regulatory approval or medical advice, and it does not constitute an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security.
